We, Christine and Maurice SCHMIDLIN,

Welcome you !

Surrounded with meadows, hills and forests, we live in a green country in the south of Alsace. This country is named Sundgau and is very closed to Switzerland and Germany.

There are already 30 years that we share our life and house with a “ journeyman with 4 feet “. This need was so necessary as soon as we had moved in our house with a big orchard.

We fell in “love” for some wonderful small Beauceron puppies and our first dog joined the family only 6 months after the birth of our daughter Fanny. Between them, some affectionate links and an incredible complicity occurred immediately. Our second daughter, Anaïs, concluded the inseparable trio.

What a misfortune, the day when our female died after 16 years of happiness ! Then a small Beauceron male came with us for several years, followed by our first Rhodesian Ridgeback, unfortunately conquered by a tough disease at 7 years old.

After the death of our faithful friend, we never thought to catch a new dog before our retirement.

But, one upon a summer day, whereas we were on holidays in the south of France, we visited the SHANGANI breeding of Mister and Miss Blumberg in Roquebrunne-sur-Argens. Immediately reconquered by the beauty of this majestic dogs that we knew their qualities and behaviours, we decided to take up with RR world again. Finally we stayed only one year without dog !

So Bacchus Shangani settled comfortably in our house in July 2006 for our biggest happiness. And the sun never stops shining in our house now…

Meanwhile our daughters never stopped growing and are now tall and beautiful women, not without being infected by the “canine virus” because Fanny is living with a nice Labrador female and Anaïs with a young Beauceron male. Since their leaving, we have now more and more time for our passion.

Thanks to Bacchus, we are all the more focused and concerned in canine exhibitions as it is now a wonderful, 2 years and half, young RR male, well developed and muscled, very expressive, a few shy in front of the judge, but playing the game willingly.
